You Say

We love to compare ourselves with standards made by society. The world tells us we’re not good enough. The world tells us we don’t measure up. The world tells us we don’t look good enough. The world tells us we weigh too much. The world tells us we need to just try harder. But the world will never tell us when we’ve made it. It will never say we’ve achieved perfection or even goodness for that matter. In the eyes of the world we’ll always be lacking!

But what if there was a voice that whispered something totally different. What if there was someone in our lives who would remind us how loved we are! What if there was someone who saw the best in us when no one else can? What if there was someone who would continually speak life-giving truth into our lives and show us our value and worth?

Unfortunately, these kind of relationships aren’t all that prevalent in our day to day lives. And if you have one cherish it with your life! But there is a voice that calls out and speaks this very truth in your life every day. God speaks these words of life and love to you all the time. He reminds you of yoru worth and value. He calls you priceless. He even speaks the very words I Love You. This week listen to what God says, not the world.
