The phrase greatest of all time is a pretty strong statement. We all strive to be the best. No one wants to be the least or the loser or the worst in a pack. No one wants to fail at something. We all like to have some form of success in our lives. But what does the greatest really look like?

We see the greatest as the one who has the most influence and power. But what if greatness wasn’t found in being on the top of the organization chart? What if greatness was found in the one who serves best and lifts everyone up?
Jesus teaches his followers that being great in the kingdom is about dependent on him for life and salvation. When we give up our wants and take on serving others we find the true meaning of greatness.
