This past weekend was a pretty cool weekend at the church I serve. We had the amazing opportunity to bring Hollyn to perform live in concert! It was great! If you’re not familiar with her music you should go over to her website and check her out! Since we’re still riding the wave of the concert, I thought it was fitting to select a song that featured her music along with the one who gave her a start in the industry, Toby Mac.

There are a ton of lights that shine in the world. Lights that blind with intensity and others that are so dim they almost serve no purpose. Some lights are meant to draw attention to themselves while others are intended to shine for someone else’s benefit. This week’s #musicmonday selection is Light Shine Bright. This song tells the story of a light that shines brighter than the rest. It’s the story of a light that works differently. It’s purpose is partially to draw others to it while at the same time it is used to shine the way forward.

There are a bunch of lights vying for your attention. Make sure the light that you’re following is a light that speaks life into you and doesn’t take life away from you. Be the light!
