I really wish someone would have taught me about compounding interest when I was younger. If had really understood how it all worked, I think I would have approached my financial life a lot differently when I was 16 years old! But money isn’t the only thing that compounds. I’ve realized over the past few years that leadership and influence compound over time as well.

There are so many people who want to have influence in life or be seen as leaders but they’re just not willing to put in the daily effort it requires. Our leadership, or influence, is something that is developed over time. Not all at one time.

There’s a daily investment that must take place in the bank of leadership that we all carry. If you’re not willing to make deposits in this bank on a regular basis, then you can’t expect to be able to draw from its interest very often. The more you put in, the more you get out of your leadership and influence.

What are you depositing in the leadership bank?

What books are you reading to help you become a better and more dynamic leader/influencer?

Who is pouring into you as a leader?

Who are you pouring into as a leader?

Look at your influence investment portfolio to make sure that you’re diversifying your wealth properly. Then do a little stock trading if you have to in order to make sure you’re properly set up for the future.
